AREA OF EXPERTISE
Travis joined Colliers International in 2012 as Managing Director of the National Student Housing Group. Travis specializes in student housing investment sales across the US and regularly assists clients with portfolio analysis, acquisition and disposition strategies, capital stack and joint venture structures and leasing and management ideas.
Travis holds a real estate license in both Florida and North Carolina. He is also a member of the National Multi-Housing Council and the ULI Young Leaders.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Travis began his investment real estate career in 1998 assembling a portfolio of residential real estate throughout Nashville, TN.
In 2011 Travis was given the CoStar Power Broker Award. During his career Travis has handled over $500,000,000 in student housing and market rate multi-family assignments. In 2009, realizing the recalibration in CRE pricing, Travis began reinvesting in multi-family and currently owns roughly 300 units throughout Nashville, TN.
BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Travis is a 1998 graduate of Vanderbilt University.
Prior to joining Colliers Travis was the Associate Director of the National
Multi-Housing Group at Marcus & Millichap, where he earned several sales achievement awards and was named Tampa and Jacksonville “Rookie of the Year” in 2007.
