Ira started off in the commercial mortgage business as a
young man of 21 years old. Ira's passion and drive quickly became clear as he
took upon himself the task of training and motivating numerous salespeople,
while fulfilling a vision to grow the company he was working for. Ira
eventually moved on to create Eastern Union a leading commercial mortgage
brokerage firm based in NYC. From Eastern Unions infancy he faced fierce
competition and a need to win clients trust in a new start up. Ira drew on his
drive and passion for the Commercial Mortgage business and successfully created
a firm which closes on a consistent basis in the billions of dollars worth of
mortgages and thousands of transactions thereby establishing Eastern Unions name
as one being synonymous with Commercial Mortgages. His accomplishments did not
go unnoticed and he was recognized in the prestigious Crain's NY 40 under 40.
Despite a credit crisis of historic proportions these past years have actually
been one of growth for Eastern Union as real estate investors have come to rely
upon Eastern Union industry knowledge to deliver commercial loans at
competitive pricing.
