Chris Riley currently serves as Greystar’s National Director of Asset Management responsible for a $1.5 billion dollar portfolio consisting of multi-family assets across the country. Chris previously served as Greystar’s Regional Vice President responsible for multi-family operations in throughout the Southeast, primarily serving Georgia.
Before opening Greystar’s Atlanta office, Chris was responsible for multi-family acquisitions for the Southeast Region. Prior to joining the Southeast Region, Chris worked at Greystar’s corporate headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina. While there his responsibilities included asset management, operating company oversight, strategic initiatives, and internal / external reporting to debt and equity providers. Prior to joining Greystar, Chris was employed by the Corporate and Investment Banking Division of SunTrust Bank in Atlanta. Previous to joining SunTrust, Chris worked in an analytical and sales capacity for Bank of America in the Real Estate Finance Group, financing regional and national homebuilders and commercial developers.
Chris graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, with a Business Administration degree in both finance and management. He received his Masters of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Chris is a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate, a member of Urban Land Institute, and REIAC.
