Melody Poetzsch is Vice President, Asset Manager for SunAmerica Affordable Housing Partners, Inc. in Charlotte, NC since 1995. Her portfolio consists of 175 properties located throughout the Eastern Seaboard. Prior to SunAmerica, Melody served in a regional position with Metric, managing both commercial and residential properties throughout the Northeast.
Melody has been active in professional associations for many years, having served on the board of directors of the Charlotte Apartment Association where she was elected to the Education Hall of Fame, on the accreditation board of the National Apartments Association, Chaired the National Education Committee for NAA, and served as Chairman of the Charlotte Historic District Commission. Most recently, she served as Chair of the HCCP Board of Governors of the National Association of Home Builders.
A Certified Property Manager, Certified Property Supervisor, and HCCP, Ms. Poetzsch also served as a certified North Carolina Real Estate Instructor. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Maryland.
