Joseph Batdorf

In 2003 Joseph Batdorf partnered with experts in marketing research to co-found J Turner Research, one of the nation’s leading providers of market research specific to the multifamily industry. He currently serves as the company’s president and is responsible for the overall success of the company.

 

Prior to launching J Turner Research, Batdorf was founder and president of AmRent. He was responsible for the day-to-day business operations and pioneered innovations in the resident screening business for the apartment industry, including sophisticated data gathering techniques and an automated system to instantly score a prospect.

 

Batdorf currently serves on the Houston Better Government Fund and is a member of the National Multi Housing Council Advisory Committee. He graduated from Michigan State University.
